What is the Enneagram? The Enneagram is a system of personality that has been in existence for hundreds of years. In the last few decades, an increasing number of people have found the Enneagram to be a profound tool for spiritual insight, growth, and transformation, much more so than other personality systems. It is a simple, yet very effective tool to truly help people love themselves and their neighbors. The Enneagram challenges and amazes its learner and can be studied at ever-greater depth for a lifetime.
What is my background with the Enneagram? I first learned the Enneagram decades ago and I have taught it for 30 years to churches, schools, and church staff. It is the best relationship tool I know, and I use it all the time in pastoral care situations. The Enneagram is used around the world by therapists, spiritual directors, clergy, coaches, and so many more. For example, it is taught at Stanford Business School. I have taught it in churches where I serve, for retreats and groups, for the Pacifica Synod, and at Sofia University whereas adjunct faculty I have taught the Enneagram to psychology graduate students. I cannot say enough good things about this tool! The class at Cross and Crown is free and open to all, so feel free to bring your friends and discover the depth and power of the Enneagram.
